Creative Arts/Crafts classes for Young Children
This class is intended to encourage creativity in preschool and elementary school children by stimulating their imagination. These classes provide opportunities for small children to enjoy creative activities, working on projects with easily accessible materials. Experienced staff members provide guidance. Preschool children should be accompanied by a parent; older elementary school students may attend alone.
The Creative Arts/Crafts Class for Young Children is held in the Atelier from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on a Sunday of most months (January, February, July, August, September, November, and December). Each time, children are given different materials. Around 30 child/parent pairs are enrolled for each class. Parents are encouraged to accompany preschool children, but fourth through sixth graders need not be accompanied. Fees for the classes include insurance. Interested persons should inquire at the information counter in person, or send a postcard with attached reply card (ofuku hagaki) during the application period specified.
